Define the language
A future strain guide would begin by explaining how each term is being used and who is using it. A product label, a vendor description, and a scientific definition should not be treated as interchangeable.
This sample does not assign effects to a strain name or make claims about a product's origin.
Ask for the supporting record
For any statement about origin, processing, or composition, our proposed approach is to ask for the underlying documentation. Where the information comes only from a seller, we would label it as a seller's statement.
Avoid promises by shorthand
The purpose of a glossary is to help readers understand the vocabulary, not to turn a name into a promise. A published guide would separate documented information, marketing language, and open questions.
